Pink wheels and plastic gearboxes.
MotorTurnigy EasyMatch G110 210 kV Brushless DC
Got the motor for its 8mm shaft. The AndyMark gearbox pinion has an 8mm bore.
DrivetrainAndyMark Toughbox Nano gearbox, 12.57:1 ratio. 1/2 inch steel hex axle. Stock hubs hex broached.
Controller 24 volt 500 watt Brushless Ebike controller
Got it off of ebay. Can run with or without sensors. The controller does need a push start to get things working but besides that I've had zero cogging issues. I did modify the controller to output about 1500 watts instead of 500. I also added a fan and cut all of the wires I didn't need.
Batteries1 Turnigy 6s 20c 5000 mAh, 22.20 Volt, Lithium-Polymer
Dirt cheap, small, lightweight, and crazy powerful battery. I ordered one from the Hobbyking USA warehouse. The order was $50 shipped!
System Voltage25 Volts
ChargerTurnigy Accucell-8 150W 7A Balancer/Charger
I like the power. It can recharge the battery from empty in about an hour.
Heatermotor cooks.
Instrumentation2 meters of RGB LEDs
Top Speed15 MPH (24 KPH)
uses 400 watts at top speed. Quite a bit of road noise.
Accelerationimpressive for a power wheels.
Range5 Miles ( 8 Kilometers)
This is an estimate but who would want to ride this for any extended period of time anyways!
Seating Capacity3 infants. 2 kiddies. 1 adult
TiresStock plastic
Conversion Timea few days
Conversion Cost$50 - donor vehicle
$58 - motor
$78 - gearbox
$33 - controller
$10 - throttle
$42 - battery
$50 - extra parts and hardware
$12 - hex axle
$12 - LEDs
Additional FeaturesThe shunt inside the controller was modified so the controller pushes 60 amps instead of 20. I also added a fan which may be the sole reason for the controller's longevity.

no brakes.

I used JB Weld to fix the pinion to the motor shaft. Cutting a keyway was a headache and the epoxy works like a charm. I will keep this in mind for future vehicles.

Broaching the plastic hubs sounded like a terrible idea but they have held up very well.
The motor produces amazing peak output but finding the acceptable continuous output is guesswork. After a few drifting sessions that made the motor extremely warm it decided to release some smoke.

This thing WILL NOT TURN unless weight is shifted foward.

This thing WILL drift! mad skillz not included.

The motor stator worked itself loose and has spun around and retracted the motor wires! lol
