Top Speed | 100 MPH (160 KPH) in PHEV mode with ICE being utilized, 100 mph is achievable. in EV mode (press the EV mode button) which is Toyota designed/interfaced, 34 mph is maximum (it kicks out of EV mode if you try to pass 34 mph). in Force-stealth mode (Prius computer is tricked into thinking car is out of gas so it turns off ICE and runs Stealth only) top speed is in the 50's (restricted by the RPM on MG2 d/t CVT transmission relying on ICE spinning).
Acceleration | Normal Prius acceleration, not great but average car.
Range | 10 Miles (16 Kilometers) EV only mode can take you 8 miles on electricity only (with the "cheaper" batteries in it now, with 22Ah same size 12V batteries would be improved to 12 miles), with Lithium could do 30 or 40 miles even! In PHEV mode; gets 80mpg for first 40 miles then normal Prius mpg after that (appx. 46-58mpg, so 500 miles per tank)

What a fantastic vehicle! This is how all cars should be! If it had better batteries (future upgrade) it would be even better, needs a 40 miles EV only range. |
