| Controller | resistor switched the resistors are only used for approx 2 to 3 seconds during acceleration the actual power lost is in watt minutes over a journey and less than a controller would lose due to other losses. just the carrying of the weight of a controller is a significant loss normal opperation was to accelerate to top speed and stay there on the rural road till journeys end |
