Additional Features | A velomobile shell is under construction. For light weight and a quiet ride, it's made primarily from thermoformed polypropylene foam camping pads from Walmart. The front wheel wells will be enclosed with Lycra. Wheel pants will be fitted that will stretch the Lycra when turning, as will the direct steer handlebars. This gives both minimum frontal area and low drag coefficient at minimal weight. Stagnation point induction provides ram air ventilation. |
