Additional FeaturesThis is one of the two prototypes we are testing. The basic philosophy is the same as Harley-Davidson: you buy the frame and then decide which parts, materials, colour schemes, accessories ... you want. So the finished bike will be anything from 2700 euros to sky-is-the-limit, featuring saddlebags, luggage compartments in the frame, to photovoltaic panels for off-the-grid charging.
The bikes ride surprisingly easy at all speeds, the shorter chassie makes it more nimble than the second one. A bit lighter and a bit faster, tested on a hill climb to see how steep it can go without using pedals - you'd be surprised.
Basically the handlebars define our two prototypes. While The Red One forces you into a more aerodynamic position and your weigth is distributed more evenly, the long one is all in the back and the rider sits like in a chair.
Also the ride and roadhandling is that of an old racing motorcycle, nothing like bicycle - except for the pedals.
