InstrumentationHmmmm... a mix of adapted traditional and
BMMS/Windows PC-based.
Top SpeedShould do a good 80mph but with the fixed
drive (no gears) this is a trade off with
acceleration. The Siemens setup is good for
~145HP, I gather, so 80mph and sizzling
acceleration (0-60 in about 5 seconds?) is
probably a realistic target for such a relatively
lightweight car (and more than enough for an
island 10 miles long with only 12 miles of single
track road!).
AccelerationHoping for 0-60mph in about 5 seconds (see
above).
Range100 Miles (160 Kilometers)
Much the same as the LEAF - although the CdA
may be a bit higher with the kit-car shape, it will
be quite a bit lighter due to the GRP body. SO,
stop/go range should be much better than the
LEAF but high at speed, somewhat less.
Watt Hours/MileRTBS - similar to the LEAF at mid-speeds.
Seating Capacity2 adults
Curb Weight0
RTBS but at a rough guess ~800kg.

Conversion TimeHas been at 'rolling chassis' stage for the last
3 years! Hope to finish it over the winter
(2016).

I think I have almost all the parts needed bar
the wire wheels, dash and hood. I have a big
roll of nice dark blue leather to do the interior
trim; door cards, seats (MGB-GT) and maybe
the dash top etc.
Conversion CostShould be around the £12k mark excluding the
controller/motor (£2k!), DC/DC converter (~
£300), BMS (~£800), batteries (£3k) and 3:1
reduction gearbox (~£300).
Additional FeaturesFree air conditioning (with the top down!).
