Drivetrain	Direct chain drive from 8T sprocket on motors to 57T chain sprocket on each rear wheel. Chain and sprockets fit within the wheel rims.
Controller	Home made dual 3 phase AC controller. Tested up to 250V DC. Max current is 40A peak per phase.
Batteries	30, 0.00 Volt, Nickel-Cadmium, Sealed/Dry 6s x 5p = 30 off 36V 1.5Ahr NiCad drill batteries!

Charger	Homemade 4A Constant Current (to 80V) Manual charger

Additional Features	This design uses 2 industrial AC motors each separately driving the 2 rear wheels through 1/2" chain. The motor spindles stick out far enough that the chains and sprockets are neatly inside the rear wheels. This is an experimental design and is unlikely to be road legal, but does work very nicely. Currently looking at using 2x Mars 5KW BLDC motors.
