Vehicle	1987 Chevrolet S10 Pickup This was one ugly truck. Needed complete tear down, rusted out panels replaced with new steel and frame cleaned and sealed with blue color. Work in progress.
Motor	Raymond Separately Excited DC Raymond forklift motor, double shaft.
Drivetrain	"WAS" 2.5L 4 Speed GM Engine
Controller	Alltrax DCX-500 Serial cable allows connection to computer to program throttle curve, etc. for performance.
Batteries	48.00 Volt, We used red top batteries for a test run, performed nicely. Now it has 4 old car batteries that don't really hold a charge. (had to give back the borrowed red tops, nothing like saving on the test drive!) With the old mismatched batteries it only gets about a mile, big difference good batteries make!
System Voltage	48 Volts
Charger	48 volt trickle for long slow charge
DC/DC Converter	None Isolating a 12V for lights, etc. with a back-up 12V so we don't take power from motor voltage supply, so no converter needed.
Instrumentation	Replaced fuel gauge in dash with voltage fuel gauge (forklift 2" gauge style)
Top Speed	38 MPH (61 KPH) With brand new red-tops, now top speed is about 20 with mismatched dead car batteries in it, definitely needs to have good batteries, plan for lithium in the future, reduced weight and more power!
Acceleration	Slow on acceleration, but not that bad. Kind of like slowly accelerating with a normal gas powered car.
Range	We have no idea on the range, we only drove it around town one afternoon and that was it (we had plates from another car on it for the test run, a little risky). Trying to find the title, we lost it somewhere.

Additional Features	FOR SALE ON OA MARKETPLACE WebPage /> We want to move on to the next project, an entire vehicle, brand new. This one was our learning experience. It's a pretty cool truck.
