A used pocket rocket I picked up for 1k. A sharp looking bike, especially for that year.

HeaterNo heater for the rider of course, would like to add heating for batteries thanks to the nice Michigan weather patterns...
InstrumentationStock, working on adding EV gages and custom embedded setup.
Top Speed55 MPH (88 KPH)
55 is the goal for the first conversion phase. Will change as gearing/motor/controller/battery choices change.
Acceleration0-30 in 4 seconds is the goal for the first phase. Again, will change as gearing/motor/controller/battery choices change.
Range25 Miles (40 Kilometers)
25 Miles 100% DOD the goal for the first phase. I only live 8 miles from work so I would like to at least allow for the return trip home if I can't get on site charging.

450 Before Conversion with full tank of gas.

Goal of no more than 550 after first conversion phase.
TiresStock, Need to be replaced though.
Conversion TimeSo far just less than a month...
Conversion CostSo far just $1,000 for the donor. Will update as phase one goes on.
Phase one will be a standard DC Setup(60V). I am shooting for a simple, cost effective setup for the first conversion.

Still debating on what the second phase will be. May try a high performance DC setup but I am leaning towards an AC setup....

Third phase hopefully will be the addition of Lithium batteries!
