Drivetrain	Belt with custom made spring tensioner. The pulley (gear) was removed from a scooter wheel and bolted to the rear axle.

Conversion Cost	Free, Dad did it with spare parts laying around the shop.
Additional Features	To make the car go, both feet must be pressed against the pedals at the same time. The pedal switches are wired in series, so that if one foot is lifted off the pedal, the car stops. Great safety feature.
Great little car that has been in the family for a long time.
