Conversion Cost | This is more of a restoration than a conversion. The car was originally electric. However it had been sitting in a parking lot unused for 20+ years. Restoration has included removal of most of the old control system, all the batteries and associated wiring. New control system, new batteries and wiring. Also the car itself was stripped down to the bare frame for cleaning. The body panels are all being stripped and repainted. The car itself was $1500. Restoration costs are estimated to be around $3000. |
