| -Earlier-Have driven over 1000 miles so far. SSSaturn is doing well. One issue is the battery charger. Takes too long to charge. If the pack is discharged a lot it takes over 12 hours to charge. I may need to get a different charger or a 240 charger. Charger has been repaired, works better now. Will start using an overnight 240ac charger soon. Driving in 5 degree f weather, pouring rain and snow. She likes warm days much better. Heater works good but uses ALOT of energy. update: over 5,000 EV miles working great, drive every day, fill batteries every 2,000 miles. update: January 2010: At 8,000 miles batteries are to weak to be useful anymore. The Quick Charge Charger failures, overcharging have shortened their life. Some of the risks, I guess. Will install LiFePo4 next. www.saturn.lynnautorepair.com | |||||||||
