It blows snow FAR better with electric power than it ever did on gasoline. It will slip the belt before the motor stops, and the belt is TIGHT! The hardest part was locating a sheeve for the motor that would keep the pully ratios correct. The conversion itself was a snap and I should have done it years ago! May 2012 update: This has been disassembled and components used on various other projects, including a planned tiller for the Elec-Trac E-12, made from the auger section. |
