Batteries are kept balanced to within 10mv on charge and discharge using PowerCheq Battery Equalizers.
System Voltage192 Volts
ChargerManzanita Micro PFC-20
This thing has begun its lifelong daily task of pumping 4 to 6 KWH a night into my batteries.
HeaterUsed existing heater core as a "frame" for the ceramic electic heater element. Switched each half separately. 1/2 the element seems to be fine for down to 32*F and heats the cab in 3-5 minutes. I'm now using the full element as temps dip into the teens. At 18*F the full element heats the cab in 2-3 minutes.

500 Watt DC-DC Maxi Module. Output trimmed to 14.2 VDC.
InstrumentationSo far only a speedo and inoperative gasoline and oil pressure guages. The Palm Pilot spewing Zilla DAQ data is quite useful. I'm getting good at reading hex and coverting to real values in my head. Been driving on Empty for almost 2 months now. Breugemann Meter in the works.
Top Speed85 MPH (136 KPH)
0-45 in 2nd gear @ 4200 RPM
0-70 in 3rd gear @ ~4500 RPM
I've hit 85mph easy in 4th gear with more room under the accelerator pedal. Still haven't shifted to 5th yet.
Acceleration0-60mph in 12.2 seconds starting in 2nd gear and shifting to 3rd.
0-60mph in 14.5 seconds starting right from 3rd gear.
Range40 Miles (64 Kilometers)
25 Miles to 50% D.O.D. on secondary roads 35-50 mph, Stop-N-Go. I calculate approximately 40 miles to 80% D.O.D. but I'll only try it when I have to. I have run two 32 mile trips down to 60% D.O.D.
Watt Hours/Mile366 Wh/Mile
366 Wh/mi average over my 15 mi RT commute on secondary roads 35-50 mph, Stop-N-Go. Running 1/2 of the ceramic heater element moves the average to 385 Wh/mi. Running the full heater element moves the average to 400 Wh/mi.

Additional FeaturesSwapped all the signal lamps to LED's from WebPage
Installed new clutch in ~3 hrs. 100% ceramic disc grabs REAL nice now. I can actually start in 3rd gear at full throttle and not slip the clutch. :-)
