Additional Features	I also have a 48 Volt 9 Ah NIMH pack for longer commutes. Not as good on hills though. The Yuasa's were bought surplus and there are spare packs at various locations that I travel.
Surplus solid state relays work great for e-bikes. I had a controller with speed control. Most times, I had it full on anyways. These solid state relays won't fail in the Oregon rain like most cheap PWM controllers and don't fatigue like similar size mech relays especially at 48 Volt.
