This is a working trike. I use it to pull up Glue-down carpet in large commercial buildings. I have yet to get the Optima's below the 18 Volt cutoff of the Curtis controller, even after a full 8 hour day. It is also very fun to ride. At only 24 inches wide with a 48 inch wheelbase, it has a turning radius of about 7 feet. It is very stable with a low center of gravity. It leans into turns and it is almost impossible to tip over or even lift a tire, no matter how sharp you turn.
