Under reconstruction. This EV had not been driven for four years when I bought it. It drives well but had body ground wiring issues. The signal lights did not work and there was power feeeding back through the dash. The car is now in my garage getting new struts (all 4 struts cost $25.00 on ebay!) as well as some much needed body repairs. The rear battery trays and the back end of the car had been exposed to the weather causing some rusting to occur. The battery trays are now encased in fiberglass and the rear deck is sporting a new paint job. My family and I went on a body part hunt that took us to Vancouver Island. It seems these cars have all but disappeared save for the one at Maxwell's Auto Wrecking and the one in my garage. The wrecker had a nice pair of straight unrusted fenders and passenger door. I believe the Omni we have had been rescued from an auto wrecker to be converted to an electic vehicle. I noticed damage to the under side of the car, the garage the car was stored at was broken into and the car was laid on it's side with a forklift. The newest pictures show my fiberglass repair to the floors plus a healthy coat rust paint.
