Vehicle1997 Chevrolet S10 EV
This is an electric version of the Chevy
S10, built by GM in 1997. It has a motor
very similar to the EV1. Unlike the EV1,
about 60 of these were sold, not leased,
and they are still around.

Additional FeaturesWe just completed a tilting bed to make the batteries
accessible without removing the battery box.
Unfortunately, we ended up losing this vehicle. Long story
short, chalk it up to government bureaucracy. All I'm gonna
say about it.

We found this truck on Craigslist for $2000. It has a Zivan
charger, but we are trying to get our hands on an original
paddle charger. The big challenge right now is finding
batteries that will fit in the box and work with the
existing BMS.
