October 2010 In the planning stages, reviewing all the options. Cant afford a lithium battery pack so opting for the Optima AGM's. Want to use the Solitron1 controller from evnetics. Have done the "big brake" upgrade and the "big gearbox" upgrade on the car to get it ready for ev conversion. Put 16" low profile PP2 tyres on it for low rolling resistance. Will upgrade the suspension next. Purchased first EV Part today the "little red button" to disconnect battery pack in an emergency. Now need to purchase the "big red button". :-) |
