| A note from Scott Cornell: Anna Cornell (my wife) has been driving electrics since 1985 when we got married. She wanted to know more about EVs, and wanted to convert one herself, so we bought a dead Rabbit diesel, and together spent 18 months converting it. She did a vast majority of the work herself, I engineered the car for her, and helped with the heavy lifting. With very few exceptions, she does not drive anything but electric vehicles (it has been over a year since she drove a gas car, and before that, she went over 10 years without driving a gas car). We have 2 children, and from the very beginning (their first trip home from the birthing center - in an EV) they seem to regard EVs as the norm at our household. This conversion based on Voltsrabbit kit by Electro Automotive. This was a training exercise (our 4th electric conversion) | |
