60 has been the fastest yet, but will
probably go faster. Efficiency is best
between 45-50 mph about 100amps in 2nd
gear. Handles better than expected.
Battery weight seems to be pretty evenly
distributed.

usually accelerate conservatively to
maximize efficiency.

Additional FeaturesPower braking system - Volkswagen vacuum pump,
Designflex vacuum switch, 4"ABS plastic reservoir - system is
set up on timer, when vacuum drops below 10Hg, vacuum switch
closes and enegages the timer, pump comes on for 8 seconds.
Have installed a homemade battery monitor panel in the dash
consisting of 20 Voltwatch units - one wired to each battery.
Have two d-sub connectors fitted to turn on and off the battery
monitor system. Works great!
