This was my first EV build (I enjoyed the conversion very much)so I could get some experience with controllers, motors and wiring before I started a Car conversion I also want to do a motorbike conversion as this scooter is for my wife. I used a Suzuki RD250 Swing arm and modified to suit the scooter mount and hub motor.The scooter is road registered legal I had to go to VicRoads to get it registered which wasn't to bad they understood EV conversions they just checked it was roadworthy. |
