Wild Blue is a fully functional 4 wheel drive Land Rover. Its aggressive 144V electrical system and 28HP, Advanced DC motor provides performance 2x the original gas model. With the very low gear ratio and 4 wheel drive, it takes on any road, paved or not. We restored the mechanical and electrical systems so it is much better than new. Its creators could not have imagined back in '62 some of the new technology we are using--things like a XM satellite radio, computer-based instrumentation and an electronic compass with no moving parts. The battery pack is heated allowing Wild Blue to be unintimidated by cold weather. |
