The beginning of this project was more involved than it needed to be because the donor car was an automatic. Fortunately I bought the car from a nearby used auto dealer and he also threw in a 98 Jetta for me to extract the manual tranny and essential components from. I now have the machined adapter plate and coupler, and the motor and transmission are back in the car. Just finished welding and fabricating the left rear motor mount bracket. Now it's time to start on the rear and front battery boxes. I'm hoping for an August completion date. Any comments or questions are welcomed.
