A 100Ah 144VDC AGM pack weighs 960 pounds...LiFePO4 160Ah 144VDC packs weigh only ~600 pounds. Much better capacity...much longer life. More expensive but the ROI looks like it's a lot betters so we're taking the plunge now instead of later.

Conversion TimeAiming at a year.
Conversion Cost$15K budget...so far the big items are on track (controller and motor). Just found the batteries I want and will order the motor adapter as soon as I get the engine pulled out to check if the tranny is okay.
Project just started...donor car being stripped and major components are ordered. Some waiting lists are a bit long so I'm collecting parts this summer. Building over the winter and hopefully will have it on the road by next spring/summer!
