Also Known as b2000 by Mazda. Its a single cab pickup
with a large tray area. Quite light but not particularly
aerodynamic. Painted in "Electric Blue" :-)

ChargerZivan NG3
This charger needs no introduction, its a great unit. Also trialing a new Energenx Charger as it is supposed to increase range.
DC/DC ConverterThermaltake Toughpower 750w
Yes, it's a computer power supply, creative solution that payed off and worked well, and supplies 60A @ 12v!! Runs straight off 120vdc or 144vdc email if you have questions
InstrumentationBattery fuel Gauge
Top Speed85 MPH (136 KPH)
VERY comfortable at highway speeds , top speed of 140KPH
gives regular trucks a go for there money! Hold speed well
up hills also.
AccelerationGood acceleration taking off in 3nd gear and even 4rd is
alright. Quite good really
Range65 Miles (104 Kilometers)
Range is Dependant on driving style and speed. Range has increased with age and a better charger and is now higher than when brand new.
Watt Hours/Mile440 Wh/Mile
.225 kwh per KM
Seating Capacity3 adults
Curb Weight3,500 Pounds (1,590 Kilograms)
Best guess really, added about 700kg and removed about
Conversion Timeabout 4 weeks solid 10hr days if you add it all up
Conversion Cost$16600 NZD including Duo-Rexen Maxilife Pulse units and all body and cosmetic modifications
Additional FeaturesNice paint job , it has to look the part as well! Also got full checker plate deck and built in tool tray above the rear batteries in the sealed battery box. A black Tonneau cover improved the aerodynamics. Hilux surf front bumper conversion and clear LED tail lights.
It's been a fun project, basically this is just the first prototype and we will be looking at performing additional conversions with increased range and possibly trialling different battery chemistries. We are interested in helping anyone interested in conversions on a commercial basis.
